ADMISSIONS

The Office of Admissions exists to tell the Jacksonville College story accurately and in a winsome manner among local schools, in like-minded churches, and groups such as those who are homeschooled.  As we faithfully continue our efforts, students who want a quality education, a small campus, and a Christian environment will be drawn to Jacksonville College.

Sandra Clay is Jacksonville College Director of Admissions. Sandra was born in Corsicana and grew up in Trinidad. She has 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter. She is a member of Beall Chapel Baptist Church in Jacksonville where she teaches a ladies Sunday School class. Sandra has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Arts degree from Carson-Newman College. She last served on staff at Brewton-Parker College in Georgia. Sandra says, “My moving back to East Texas two years ago has doubly blessed me. I am close enough to my family to be an active part of their lives for the first time in 20 years. And I am able to work in an institution with colleagues who unashamedly represent the Lord Jesus. My job every day is ministry for the Kingdom of God because of what Jacksonville College builds into the lives of its students.”

I encourage you to help our Office of Admissions by giving Sandra names and contact information of students you know that need to consider Jacksonville College. You can email the information to Sandra at sclay@jacksonville-college.edu, and she will contact the student. If you prefer to call, her phone number (903) 589-7110. Feel free to invite Sandra to come and speak to your youth and share the Jacksonville College story.
