A student may contest a final semester grade by submitting a written appeal to the Academic Dean no later than 45 days after the close of the semester in which the grade was given. The Academic Dean, the instructor and the student will meet to seek resolution of the problem. If satisfactory resolution cannot be obtained, then an ad hoc committee consisting of two faculty members and an administrator will be appointed by the Academic Dean to investigate the matter further and render a final decision. All proceedings shall be documented and placed into the student's file.
